Admission Form for CTS Courses
Objective of the course - to impart basic skill & knowledge to trainees in the trade of Hair and skin care so that they are able to seek employment as beautician in a beauty parlour/ saloon or run their own parlour providing basic services.
Trainee Entry level - Passed Matriculation or 10th class under 10+2 system or an equivalent examination
Course Duration - One year full time course.
Course Contents :- Course includes personality development & Reception, Anatomy & physiology; Hair Care - scalp massage & shampooing, hair cutting & styling, colouring & perming; Skin Care - manicure & pedicure, facial massage & make up, superficial hair removal & eye- brow shaping, bleaching, etc.
Trainee Exit Level :- On completion of the course, the trainees are expected to be able to

Accentuate good features with different make-up techniques;

Maintain hands/feet in healthy condition & decorate with Mehandi;
-
Cut Hair in different style & set the hair temporarily & permanently;
-
Recognising skin types & treating them accordingly with various facial techniques;

artificial colour to hair with chemical & vegetable dyes;
-
Know the technique of handling customer & present herself.
The workshop, developed for this course, is equipped with latest tools & equipment like facial sauna, vapozone, scalp steamer, etc
Hair and Skin Care (CITS):--
Objective of the course - to impart trainees in advanced area of the trade so that they are able to run their own beauty parlour and prepare cosmetics.
Trainee Entry level - NCVT Certificate in the concerned trade or Diploma in relevant field# from recognized Board of Technical Education.
# AICTE(All India Council for Technical Education) approved Diploma
Course Duration -
(2 modules- each of 4 months)

Trade Module(TM)-II
Course Contents :- In general, the course covers the following - Knowledge & skills in Saloon Management, Cosmetic Chemistry, Body Perfection - Yoga & Dietetics and hair dressing - shaping, perming & lightening.
Trainee Exit Level :- On completion of the course, the trainees are expected to be able to

Manage saloon with latest equipment & technology,

Prepare cosmetics for their own use,

run slimming centre with latest gadgets,
-
recognise skin disorders & its treatment;
-
treat different types of skin with facial techniques;
-
set & cut hair in different/latest style;
-
give high fashion look to hair by perming & colouring;
-
Accentuate good features and hide out bad features by corrective make-up.
